Suffering is a purely human thing
To suffer and tell the story of suffering
Suffering
An animalistic word of primal tendencies
The beating of people and the beating of the joy within people’s hearts
Suffering
To say you will stay here despite it all
Sans alcohol, sans abusing others
To say you will stay is the strongest thing
Endurance
That is the word
To endure
Alongside the resistance of anger and explosion
To sustain
Throughout the many vulnerabilities of being human
To sustain oneself throughout the suffering
That is the stuff of strength in motion •
